In general, wet wipes are manufactured in a few steps. The manufacturing process begins with the preparation of the raw materials such as the pulp, chemicals, and fragrances, often in a liquid form. The ingredients are then blended together to create a homogeneous mixture. The wet wipe sheet is then fed into a machine and cut into the desired wet wipe size. At this point, additional ingredients such as moisturizers, sanitizers, or fragrances can be added to the wet wipes. Finally, the wet wipes are packaged, labeled, and sealed to ensure a hygienic, tamper-proof product.
